The Greying Nation: Keeping Ahead of the Wave Export to iCal/Outlook Print
Friday, March 13 2009, 8:00am - 5:00pm by Anonymous
The conference will address how the health care sector and service providers can prepare for the
growing number of seniors requiring services –
the baby boomers, the first of whom will be turning 65 in 2011. Conference topics will include: innovative technologies to support functional and cognitive abilities; adaptive housing; ‘green’ living through the ages; determinants of health; aging well; and perspectives on aging as expressed through the visual and performing arts. These topics will be explored in depth by internationally recognized speakers. We are pleased to welcome Dr. David Suzuki, a Canadian science broadcaster and environmentalist, who will lead the conference with a keynote address.
