National Memory Screening Day

The Alzheimer's Foundation of America welcomes health care professionals to participate in its annual National Memory Screening Day (NMSD) on November 17, 2009. Community sites nationwide will offer free confidential memory screenings and educational materials to the public. The goal of NMSD is to raise awareness of the need for early detection of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and appropriate medical treatment and social services interventions.
