This educational activity will provide an update in strategies for geriatric orthopaedic care. Target audience includes orthopaedists, primary care physicians, geriatricians, hospitalists and allied care professionals. Thirty to forty percent of the educational content will focus on osteoarthritis and pain management, with a special emphasis on the foot and ankle. A portion of the conference will also be devoted to addressing osteoarthritis/post-traumatic, and degenerative/chronic pain issues in the geriatric population.
