Audio Conference sponsored by the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC).

This audio conference will address the creation of pediatric palliative care services in the community. Speakers Sarah Friebert, MD and Susan M. Huff, MSN, RN will present examples of successful programs that demonstrate strategies others have used to build programs that address a variety of children's needs in different settings.

 Learning Objectives:

• Identify essential elements of community program development and needs assessment
• Address gaps, strengths and challenges in the community-based care of children with life-threatening conditions
• Understand best practices in pediatric clinical program components
