As a 2009-2010 Health and Aging Policy Fellow, Diane E. Meier, MD worked with the Senate HELP committee and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In this audio conference, Dr. Meier will share her insights after having spent a year entrenched in the world of health care policy.

  • Identify how palliative care addresses specific problems with the U.S health care system
  • Distinguish how the Health Care Reform Act of 2010 is relevant to patients’ needs
