Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma Geriatrics Education Center (OKGEC) will host the second annual conference Linking Gerontology and Geriatrics: Addressing Ethics, Disasters & Well-Being in Rural Communities. The conference will held on June 1 -2, 2012 at Wes Watkins Center • Oklahoma State University • Stillwater, OK We have exciting presentations and panel discussions by renowned speakers. The conference has three information tracks: (a) Bioethics and Ethics, and (b) Disaster Preparedness, and (c) Health and Well-Being Conference participants will have access to apply evidence-based information needed to enhance best or professional practices. The conference will be of interest to rural healthcare providers, other professionals, community members working with older adults, and family members. The current event is open to the public.
