Media Center

Welcome to the Media Center for the 64th Annual Scientific Meeting of The Gerontological Society of America. This event was held at the John B. Hynes Veteran Memorial Convention Center in Boston, MA, from November 18 to 22, 2011.

About the Meeting

The Gerontological Society of America's Annual Scientific Meeting is the nation's largest interdisciplinary conference in the field of aging. An estimated 4,000 professionals attended the five-day gathering in Boston. The theme for 2011 was "Lifestyle → Lifespan" and the program schedule contained more than 500 scientific sessions featuring research presented for the first time.

GSA offers an online interactive meeting planner. Using this tool, you will be able to browse the program schedule of conference sessions by speaker, title, date, and time, or use the search feature to find abstracts by topic areas, presenters’ last names, and keywords.
