Listservs
Announcement lists
GSA announcement
lists are commonly used to distribute GSA newsletters, information about the organization,
its products and services, and upcoming Society events.
All members
of GSA for whom we have email addresses are added to GSA announcement lists according
to section affiliation. This list is updated approximately every month to include
new members. If you are currently a member and your email address has changed
or would like messages to go to another address, send a blank email originating
from the preferred address to join-(listname)@ntserver2.geron.org. Example:
join-gsawide@ntserver2.geron.org.
To unsubscribe, follow the
directions on the bottom of the announcement email or send a blank email to leave-(listname)@ntserver2.geron.org.
Example: leave-gsawide@ntserver2.geron.org.

The author of the email
DOES NOT receive responses to announcement emails, nor will it broadcast
to the rest of the list. If you wish to respond to the author of the email, you
must have the author's email address, usually contained within the email. GSA
does not necessarily have access to this information. If GSA itself is the author,
then you may email comments to geron@geron.org. For
questions, please contact lyrisadministrator@geron.org
| If you have been a member of GSA for over three months and have not
received any messages from our listserv, then we might not have your email address.
Please go to www.geron.org and update your
information. | Discussion lists
Discussion lists are designed for group communication. Responses to emails will
be broadcast to all members of the list. Lists are restricted to members of that
group and are not open to join. Members may post messages by sending the message
to (listname)@ntserver2.geron.org.
Example: to post to the program
committee discussion list, email program@ntserver2.geron.org.
Remember, you will only be allowed to post if you are a member of that
particular group. If you are a member of a group and cannot post or receive messages
from that listserv, please email the chair of the committee or lyrisadministrator@geron.org
