GSA Forum: Connecting Health Care, Public Health, and Community for Dementia Detection and Care is your opportunity to move from knowing to doing. Connect with leaders in clinical care, research, and public health who are driving real change through the KAER framework.
Hosted by Dr. Soo Borson and Dr. Joshua Chodosh, this two-day online event is designed to help you use the KAER framework: Kickstart, Assess, Evaluate, Refer, to improve early detection, diagnosis, and connections to care.
Each session walks you through a step in the framework, using real-world case studies from health systems, community programs, and public health initiatives. You’ll leave with strategies that work, can be scaled, and are ready to implement.
Participants will:
- See how the KAER framework is being applied across clinical and community settings
- Explore tools and approaches for earlier detection and better care coordination
- Learn from programs addressing access, equity, and real-world constraints
- Engage with experts through live Q&A and discussion
If you’re a clinician, researcher, public health professional, or aging services provider ready to take action, this forum gives you the tools and knowledge to make a difference with the KAER framework.
