  • FEBS Workshop "Ageing and Regeneration", Innsbruck, Austria, September 9 - 12, 2019

    Research targeted at defining conditions for healthy ageing is key to developing sustainable future societies. Morevover, regenerative medicine continuously strives to develop treatments and, as a long-term goal, cures for a variety of age-related disorders. The workshop will bring together experts working at the forefront of science in both ageing research and regenerative medicine / stem cell biology. As a unique feature, the participants will benefit from synergy available through the comprehensive inclusion of leading experts working in various domains of life, from plants, nematodes and tunicates to mice and humans, with the ambition to define and explore new integrative concepts oand common strategies. The workshop is dedicated to developing the theoretical background for future attempts to provide solutions for the biomecial challenges caused by the ongoing demographic shift.

  • Malnutrition Awareness Week (TM)

    Join ASPEN, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition for Malnutrition Awareness Week (TM), September 23-27, 2019. GSA is pleased to serve as an Ambassador for Malnutrition Awareness Week (TM)

    The goal of Malnutrition Awareness Week is to educate healthcare professionals to identify and treat for malnutrition earlier; educate consumers/patients to discuss their nutrition status with healthcare professionals, and to increase awareness of nutrition’s role in patient recovery.  

    It’s a week filled with valuable educational webinars and the sharing of informational materials. Continuing education credit is available for each webinar. ASPEN is accredited to provide medical, pharmacy, nursing, and dietetic credits.
