How to Log in to Submit:

  • Click the white “Login” button on the top right corner of the home page
  • Enter your GSA username and password*
    • If you have forgotten your password, select “Forgot your password”
    • If you do not have an account with GSA, you may create one here
  • Once logged in, click the white “My Account” button on the top right corner of the home page
  • Click “Abstract Central” to begin the submission process

 *If you have previously been active with The Gerontological Society of America, you should have an existing account. If unsure, click “Forgot your password” to see if your e-mail address is in the system.

The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) is the oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization devoted to research, education, and practice in the field of aging. The Annual Scientific Meeting provides the opportunity to learn the latest trends and developments from experts and researchers in aging from around the world. All abstracts must be submitted via the Cadmium submission site. Make sure to read the instructions on each page and the planning guide before completion. You will be able to edit and resubmit your abstract as many times as necessary before the March 14 deadline.

Important Dates

  • Thurdsay, March 14, 2019 – Online Abstract Submission Deadline
  • Thursday, March 14, 2019 – Pre-Conference Workshop Application Deadline
  • Thursday, July 11, 2019 – Abstract Acceptance/Non-Acceptance Email Notifications Sent
  • Mid-July 2019 – Late Breaker Poster Session will open; details will be available in July 
  • Thursday, September 12, 2019 – Late Breaker Poster Session Deadline

Submission Fees

The abstract submission fee is a processing fee and is nonrefundable (regardless of acceptance). Once the abstract has been submitted, it is considered processed.

• Symposium: $40

• Professional Paper/Poster: $30

• Student Paper/Poster: $20
