Focus of Award:

  • Acknowledges outstanding contributions of an established mid-career GSA member of the Health Science section to an innovative and influential area of the field in research and/or practice. These innovative and influential contributions may include achievements across a wide range of scholarship, including research, practice, teaching, application, and integration. 

Submission Period: Spring 2025

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Member of Health Sciences section.
  • Active, regular GSA member for at least seven years (including transition member years).
  • Published in an innovative and influential area of the aging field in research and/or practice within the past five years. 

Nomination Materials:

  • Single nomination letter signed by nominator and at least two additional supporters that addresses the focus of the award.
  • Bio sketch of nominee (no more than 5 pages). May use the NIH bio sketch format. The personal statement and publications should address the intent of the award.
