Late Breaking Abstracts Due August 21; Recognizing Our Vice Chairs

As we are in the midst of our late-breaking paper and poster submission period (deadline: August 21) for the 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting in Boston, I’ve been reflecting on all the hard work it took to bring us to this point.
From abstract submission to peer review and final decision-making, it takes a village. Our GSA village includes over 800 abstract reviewers who consider the thousands of abstracts submitted, and 70 members who serve on one of our seven Annual Scientific Meeting Working Groups.
These working groups are led by the vice chairs of each of GSA’s member sections. Vice chairs (listed below) have the enormous responsibility of organizing the scientific programming all of us will benefit from this November. I appreciate their dedicated service to GSA, giving so generously of their time and expertise, to make the GSA Annual Scientific Meeting the premier meeting for cutting-edge scholarship advancing research, practice and education in the aging field.
