GSA hosts Careers in Aging Month every year to raise awareness about the diverse careers available in the field of aging.

People are living longer and populations are aging worldwide. The demand for professionals with expertise in aging is growing rapidly. Careers in Aging Month (CIAM) is observed every year by businesses, clinics, coalitions, organizations, universities, colleges, and other parties across the world. 

The goal of CIAM is to bring greater awareness and visibility to the wide-ranging career opportunities in the field of aging.

This Twitter chat will facilitate a conversation on how the principles of reframing can be applied to our work in the growing field of aging.

Activity will allow small groups of students to sit, meet and talk with a professional in the field of aging. This will be an opportunity to hear from different professionals regarding their aging career story, what kind of work they do and how aging relates to various fields of study.
