The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) — the nation’s oldest and largest interdisciplinary organization focused on aging — is proud to announce its newest elected officers. These individuals were chosen by GSA’s membership, which consists of more than 6,000 researchers, educators, and practitioners.

Journal Provides First National Review of Compounds that Influence Longevity

The first comprehensive review of two decades of research from the National Institute on Aging’s Interventions Testing Program (ITP) highlights 13 interventions that show promise in preclinical studies for significantly extending lifespan and improving health span. The findings are published in The Journals of Gerontology, Series A: Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences by the Gerontological Society of America.
