The first comprehensive review of two decades of research from the National Institute on Aging’s Interventions Testing Program (ITP) highlights 13 interventions that show promise in preclinical studies for significantly extending lifespan and improving health span. The findings are published in The Journals of Gerontology, Series A: Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences by the Gerontological Society of America.

GSA is encouraged by the introduction of the Treat and Reduce Obesity Act (TROA) in both the House of Representatives and Senate, and calls on Congress to pass this important legislation.
