GSA celebrates its annual Founder’s Day on May 18, marking the day in 1945 when a small group of forward-thinking researchers established the Society. The founders couldn’t have imagined the enormous growth we would have, now with more than 6,500 members across 26 different academic disciplines.

GSA will have a presence at the upcoming IAGG World Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics. Taking place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from July 5 to 8, this will be the first in-person World Congress since GSA hosted the event in San Francisco in 2017.

The Society is teaming up with other organizations this month to use our collective voices to highlight the importance of life-saving vaccines in maintaining our health as we age.

Thank you to the a2 Collective for welcoming GSA to its recent National Symposium in Washington — one of several ways the Society is keeping engaged with leaders, researchers, industry innovators, and practitioners to explore the intersection of aging and technology.
